Welcome
ROADBURNERS motorcycle club was formed in 1989 in West Cumbria, U.K. Our aims are to promote and support motorcycling and related social events among our membership, associates and friends. (we ride our bikes and party)
The club's 5 founder members were Tom Craig, Ed Hudson, Lindsay Hudson, Gordon Murray and Mike Teasdale. Full members wear an embroidered back patch with the club logo. Associate and prospective members wear our breast pocket patch and shoulder flash. Members offer support, brotherhood and loyalty to each other and the club.
We are an independent recreational bike club, neither mcc nor mc, following our own instincts and values. We are proud to be ROADBURNERS and wear our patch and have a live and let live attitude. We respect all other biker clubs ( mc, mcc, riders clubs, brotherhoods, owners groups, etc.) as long as they respect us. We are a MAG affiliated club.
The club holds weekly meetings in Workington or Cockermouth. Anyone wishing to join the club becomes a prospective member first. If we get on and you fit in, you'll be invited to be a full member after a period of time. Membership is only open to licensed, active motorbike riders. Although most members are in Cumbria, we have members in other parts of the UK (South-East and East Coast). The club also holds social evenings, visits other clubs, bike rallies, parties, rock nights and annual motorbike tours in the UK and abroad.
